I got my hair cut a few weeks ago. Like, chopped it all off. It’s the shortest I’ve had it. I kind of love it. I don’t know yet if I’ll grow it out or keep it like this for a while, but there are definite benefits to being a young mom in a Houston summer with short hair. Plus it was a kind of fun thing to do, something I’ve always dreamed of doing but never had the guts to do. And I donated my hair. That felt good.
