MLK Day Weekend

Hi everyone! Married life continues to be just great! This past weekend was a holiday weekend, so we traveled on Sunday up north of Salt Lake City to visit Josh’s grandparents, spend the night, and see more cousins the next day. It was a great vacation and break from school! Now it’s back to normal life–and we’re looking forward to this Thursday, when Paige’s dad is coming up for a business trip. We love getting to see family so often! And, other good news, we are just about almost officially moved in!! Hooray! That means the piles of random stuff on the living room floor have been sorted through, you can actually see the ground in the spare room, and things are just generally feeling organized and like home! It’s a great feeling. And so is life. :-)

Happy Birthday, Josh!

Yesterday Josh celebrated his 22nd birthday. Aside from being happy he’s finally the same age as Paige (who is four months older), he also really enjoyed his special day, and so did everyone else! In the evening we made cupcakes (the funfetti kind–mmmm) and delivered them to friends and close family. It was fun to see our friends, some who we hadn’t seen in a while, and visit and share cupcakes.

Josh says:

I got some really great presents! Paige gave me a gift certificate to Borders (I love browsing in bookstores!). I also got some great cards from my family (the singing card was especially

nice–I’ve never opened a card to Aretha Franklin singing “Respect” before!) and a sweet camera lens from Paige’s mom.

All in all, it was a great day and lots of fun! Aren’t birthdays the best?

Hi everyone! We’re married!

Hello everybody, and welcome to the coolest site by far on the entire web! We decided that hey, everyone likes us soooo much that they really would want to keep up with our every doings, and all of our other married friends had blogs, so we needed one too! A quick check revealed that the amazingly vain awesome paigeandjosh.com was actually available, so we snagged it up and here we are!

To quickly recap, we were married on the 20th of December, 2008, and went on our honeymoon directly after to Corpus Christi/Padre Island, Texas. After a stop in Colorado for Christmas and an Open House, we moved back to Utah, had a final “wedding brunch” with family and close friends, and now we are all moved in (well, okay, mostly) to our new house, have started school, and are loving life!

We hope to be able to post many of our wedding and honeymoon pictures here to the site, and to make it ours as much as we can. If you have any suggestions or questions, let us know. Thanks a ton everyone, and have a great day!
