I Hate Rit Dye
It all started with Halloween and then lasted for several months after that, but let’s just say I haven’t had the best experience with Rit dye. How do traces of it still pop up in my laundry, completely unexpected? For instance, I have no idea how that one stubborn cleaning rag escaped my original Rit dye purge, or where it’s been hiding out in my house for the past four months, completely undetected. And when did the Rit dye choose to strike again? Of course, when I was washing the new (white) dish towels that Josh bought me for Christmas – the dish towels he bought me to replace the ones I ruined last October. Rit dye, you and I will never be friends.

Going Private
Hello friends and family!
We just wanted you all to know that we are making our blog private. From now on, when you come to our blog it will simply ask you for your email address to check that you’re on our “In” list (and you really, really want to be on the In list!) and then you can browse our exciting lives away. You’re probably already on the list, but if not, please send us your address, we want you to still be able to read the blog!
For those of you who follow us via RSS like in Google Reader, we will also be making the RSS feeds private. However, don’t despair! There will be a new, customized RSS feed link that you will find on the blog after you’ve logged in. Just use that one in place of the old one, and you’ll be set!
